Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Analyst (Healthcare)

FIDES is seeking a Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Analyst to support the implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday HCM for our healthcare clients. The analyst will collaborate across HR functional areas and technical teams to support configuration, data validation, testing, customer confirmation sessions, and hyper‑care. This role requires deep knowledge of HCM functionality and experience supporting Workday HCM in client‑facing settings. This role is up to 40% onsite.
Responsibilities
Participate in HCM design sessions to determine optimal configuration.
Assist with configuration workbooks across HCM modules (e.g., Core HCM, Compensation, Position Management, Absence, Talent/Performance, Recruiting as applicable).
Support HCM data mapping, validation, and organizational data staging.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design user stories and test cases aligned to HR processes.
Assist with integration requirements and HCM testing activities.
Support report rationalization, HCM reporting needs, and analytics validation.
Conduct unit and integrated testing, including resolution of break/fix issues.
Prepare and deliver customer confirmation sessions with HR and cross‑functional teams.
Participate in cutover planning, deployment, and transaction catch‑up for HCM.
Provide post‑go‑live hyper‑care support.
Qualifications
Experience supporting at least
two Workday HCM implementations
as an HCM analyst.
Preferably at least
one healthcare provider HCM implementation .
Ability to support
2–4 modules within Workday HCM .
Strong communication skills and core consulting capabilities.
Experience with RAID logs, decision support, and client‑facing status reporting.
Ability to travel up to 40% onsite and work EST.
Two confirmed professional references required.
Workday certification is a plus.
