Carpenter
to build and repair structures and other items as well as source appropriate materials depending on project needs.

Responsibilities
Perform work and assist in a wide range of construction tasks including framing and drywall, masonry and painting, insulation, flooring installation, and roofing
Ensure a clean and safe work site
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
Operate a variety of hand and power tools
Prepare job sites including but not limited to digging trenches, setting braces for support, and erecting scaffolding
Clean job sites including removal of waste
Assist other craft workers
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Have 5 plus years of experience as a Carpenter in commercial property
Be a team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic
Be dependable, with excellent attendance
Be able to use equipment and tools properly and safely
Have some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction work
Handle/lift up to 50 lbs; carry ladders; work from heights; work in small crawl spaces
Work near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that includes inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
Possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license prior to employment
Perform manual work following verbal and/or written instructions
Be an excellent performer; deliver high quality results consistently
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
Be able to work well with and motivate a team
Be fluent in English and authorized to work in the United States
