Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Platform Leadership
Own the end-to-end architecture, design, and performance of the ServiceNow platform.
Lead platform governance, including development standards, naming conventions, and release management.
Manage platform upgrades, patching, and instance strategy.
Oversee the development and deployment of new modules, applications, and integrations.
CMDB Ownership
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the CMDB.
Define and enforce CMDB governance, including data ownership, reconciliation rules, and compliance.
Ensure CMDB supports ITSM, ITOM, and business service mapping.
Drive CMDB health initiatives, including completeness, correctness, and compliance metrics.
Technical Oversight – 33%:
Provide technical leadership in scripting (JavaScript, Glide), integrations (REST/SOAP), and automation (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub).
Guide the use of Discovery, Service Mapping, and third-party integrations (e.g., SCCM, Tanium).
Ensure platform security through role-based access control and data policies.
Support CI/CD practices and automated testing using ATF and DevOps tools.
Team & People Management – 33%:
Manage and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers, architects, and analysts.
Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and career development.
Align team capacity with strategic priorities and ensure delivery excellence.
Functional & Strategic Leadership – 33%:
Define and maintain the ServiceNow roadmap aligned with enterprise goals.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Lead platform governance boards and architecture councils.
Drive user adoption, training, and change management initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
Define and monitor KPIs for platform performance, CMDB health, and process efficiency.
Leverage Performance Analytics and Reporting to deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications Required:
3-4 years of experience with ServiceNow, including platform administration and architecture.
3-4 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing enterprise platforms.
Proven experience with CMDB design, implementation, and governance.
Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and related ServiceNow modules.
Expertise in scripting, integrations, and platform automation.
Experience with platform governance, security, and compliance.
Preferred:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
