Pay Base pay range: $24.00/hr – $49.00/hr.
Day-in-the-life Based in Whippany, NJ, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring our packaging lines start up flawlessly, run safely, and deliver consistent quality. You’ll blend hands‑on mechanical skill with process discipline to keep production on beat.
What you’ll do
Set up production lines with the right tooling and configuration to achieve peak performance from the first case to the last.
Dial in process parameters per documented standards and monitor them to maintain repeatability and compliance.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues rapidly to cut downtime and keep throughput on target.
Partner with Quality Assurance to spot, investigate, and resolve packaging quality issues.
Boost efficiency and cut waste by driving overall equipment effectiveness and material yield.
Document everything with accurate, timely machine records that support audits, traceability, and continuous improvement.
Train operators on safe operation, best practices, and routine care of equipment.
Support compliance alongside the Production Supervisor to uphold cGMP, DEA, and OSHA requirements on the floor.
Lead with safety by ensuring equipment and lines meet safety standards and operate within defined limits.
Own line clearance by directing and authorizing clearance procedures to protect product integrity and compliance.
Leverage automation know‑how with working knowledge of PLCs and control systems to improve reliability.
Run and maintain specialized assets including inkjet printers (continuous and thermal), UV printers, blister packaging machines, bottle fillers, cartoners, and vision systems.
Champion continuous improvement through process enhancements, equipment upgrades, and smart layout changes.
Pitch in cross‑functionally with additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations.
