Nature of Work Vacancy 1 in Fayette, Clay, Nicholas and Kanawha Counties. Under general supervision, performs full‑performance level clerical work, including direct inmate contact, answering phones, maintaining a daily log, creating forms and documents, requisitions and ordering supplies. Performs related work as required and may assist in security post as needed.
Compensation
$5,000 added to the minimum starting rate of pay for all classifications within a Critical Vacancy Pay Supplemental Facility per SPB 3088 effective 10/7/23.
Annual base building pay differential of $250 after completing one year of service.
If an employee leaves a Critical Vacancy Pay Facility the additional $5,000 pay differential is removed unless transferring to another CVPF.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
Two years of full‑time or equivalent part‑time paid experience in routine office work.
College hours, related business school, or vocational training may substitute through an established formula for the required experience.
