Position Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring equipment reliability, safe work practices, and efficient workflow. This role supports both preventive and reactive maintenance efforts, leads a team of technicians, and collaborates closely with production, engineering, and safety teams to meet organizational goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain goals and critical objectives
Leadership and Team Management
Supervise, coach and develop maintenance technicians
Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure completion to standard.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Achieve Immediate and short-term maintenance goals
In-depth knowledge of Maintenance, continuous improvement, predictive/preventive maintenance programs
Assign work orders and follow up to make sure repairs are completed
Perform lock out/ tag out certifications on equipment
Complete paperwork and documents and ensure the maintenance team completes paperwork
Conduct safety checks throughout the day
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer proficiency.
Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS
Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and ensure timely execution.
Coordinate and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, PMs, and repairs.
Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate purchasing as needed.
Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and maintenance shop space.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole, fractional and decimal numbers.
REASONING ABILITY
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation.
Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessions.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Advanced level of knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
Enforce all safety policies and procedures; ensure technicians follow LOTO, PPE, and OSHA guidelines.
Participate in safety audits/walk abouts.
Ensure equipment and facility upkeep comply with regulatory requirements.
PLANNING & COORDINATING
Support installation, upgrades, and commissioning of equipment.
Work with production and maintenance leadership to prioritize maintenance activities.
Work with external contractors and vendors when needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in manufacturing environments.
Ability to work in hot/cold conditions and around industrial equipment.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time; may require on-call availability, weekends, or extended hours depending on operational needs.
