Position Summary This position is responsible for driving a Continuous Improvement/Quality oriented culture inside CST facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders.

Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.

Update customer information in a database.

Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.

Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.

Operate common office equipment, like scanners and printers.

Search for and investigate information contained in files.

Perform regular database backups to secure data.

Input text-based and numerical information from source documents.

Provide occasional administrative support.

Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically.

Review data for deficiencies or errors.

Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.

Provide data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis.

Type in data quickly and efficiently.

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma

Must have data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Data Entry experience

Fast and accurate Data Entry skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

A High School Diploma or Equivalent

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret CST and customer prints and documents.

Ability to write routine reports in a professional manner.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole, fractional, and decimal numbers.

REASONING ABILITY

Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation.

Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessions.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Advanced level of knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Walk, must be able to move about inside the manufacturing and office and occasionally on a construction site or outside of the manufacturing facility.

Use hands/fingers to feel, must be able to operate computers, machinery, dimensional equipment.

Sit and stand, must be able to work at a stationary desk that may require sitting or standing. Standing on concrete floors and uneven terrain will be required frequently.

Climb and balance, must climb stairs and ladders.

Stoop, kneel and crouch or crawl.

Talk/hear, must be able to communicate with operators and management frequently and exchange accurate information.

Lift and carry weights of 50lbs.
