Customer Care Associate

About the Role Working closely with the Practice Manager, the Customer Care Associate supports daily front-desk operations and serves as the primary point of contact for patients. This role combines customer service, care coordination, and administrative support in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients

Verify insurance benefits and collect co-pays/coinsurance

Manage phone calls, patient portal messages, and business SMS

Support care coordination, including referrals, records requests, and community resources

Assist with clinician scheduling

Maintain office supply inventory

Handle incoming and outgoing mail

Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Customer service and/or front-desk administrative experience required

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Office 365)

Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks

Insurance or finance experience preferred, not required

Schedule (35–40 hours/week)

Mon:

8:30am–5:00pm

Tues (alternating):

7:45am–4:15pm or 10:45am–7:15pm

Wed:

7:45am–4:15pm

Thurs:

8:45am–5:15pm

Fri:

7:45am–4:15pm

Compensation & Benefits

$20–$23/hour , based on experience
