Position Summary

In your role as an Equipment Material Management Leader, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the management of semiconductor equipment, components, and specialized shipments within the organization. This role combines supply chain knowledge with regulatory compliance to ensure that manufacturing, research and development, and operational teams receive the necessary parts in a timely manner while minimizing costs and adhering to all trade and safety regulations. Role and Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of warehouse and inventory management, including receiving, storing, and distributing semiconductor equipment and components. Lead end-to-end vendor management, including sourcing, qualification, performance evaluation, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for material flow, vendor performance, cost efficiency, and inventory accuracy. Manage service and equipment contracts, including negotiation, renewals, and compliance tracking. Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, engineering, operations, and finance to support material requirements for manufacturing and R&D. Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international trade regulations, particularly in relation to Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ). Implement best practices in materials planning, logistics, and warehousing to ensure availability of parts and equipment with minimal lead times. Identify and drive process improvements to reduce costs, improve quality, and streamline operations. Use ERP systems and inventory tools to maintain accurate stock levels and real‑time visibility into inventory movements. Provide oversight of logistics operations; technical subject matter expert for SOPs. Regularly monitor workflow and the execution of assigned logistical functions for SAS benchmarks new logistics developments. Identify areas of improvement for material management logistics; self‑driven project management. Exercise independent judgement when faced with ambiguity. Oversee the deliveries of specialized shipments and coordinate and schedule material shipments to sustain target site levels and keep the Fab constantly supplied. Maintain synchronization with end users’ requirements; monitor delivery to receipt with end user. Act quickly when disruption in materials flow (off site); liaison between Procurement and end user. Develop projects to refine and make lean systems and processes for current material support operations; execute projects to specified timelines. Other responsibilities as needed. Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree is a plus). APICS CPIM or CSCP a plus. 5 years of progressive experience in materials management, with a strong emphasis on semiconductor equipment and warehouse operations. Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, including contract negotiations and supplier performance oversight. Proficient in KPI development and monitoring for materials, warehouse, and vendor metrics. In‑depth understanding of service and equipment contracts and negotiation techniques. Experience with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) or international logistics strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Advanced Excel data analysis skills—required. SQL, Python, or R—preferred. SAP Material Management is a plus. Total Rewards

The current base salary range for this role is between $69,070 – $156,950. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. Eligible full‑time employees (salaried or hourly) may also receive MBO bonuses based on company, division, and individual performance. All positions at SAS are full‑time on‑site.
