Starting Wage: $24.50/hour (2nd and 3rd Shift Differentials)
Job Responsibilities
Perform CCP Metal Detector monitoring verification
Perform correct case code and labelling verification
Perform pre‑op and post‑operational line inspection through visual, sanitation, allergen, organic and equipment swabbing
Perform analytical testing including pH, moisture and water activity and report and enter data in the computer system
Collect and prepare samples for microbiological analysis by 3rd party lab, including finished product, environmental monitoring swabs, water samples and air settling plates
Perform finished product sensory evaluation
Perform End Item inspection for specific finished product to meet USDA requirements
Monitor, inspect and report in identified products for conformance to specifications and initiate holds and CAPA
Perform calibration/verification for lab and production measuring equipment
Collect and analyze water samples for active chlorine levels
Perform chemical titration test for active levels of cleaning chemicals
Perform area audits for food safety inspections and food quality compliance: assuring all food contact areas are free from foreign material, potential pathogen contamination as well as absence of specified allergens
Analyze finished product samples for customer complaint investigation and report findings to management
Perform pre‑printed packaging verification
Must be flexible and able to work any shift to provide vacation coverage and overtime relief for team members
Skills Needed
Minimum of high school diploma
Prefer 2 years’ experience in quality
Proficient basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows Office, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in SAP and Infinity App a plus
Knowledge of GMP’s, food safety and sanitation a plus
Knowledge of production equipment cleaning and inspection a plus
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
Experience with analytical measurement tools a plus
Must be able to work at heights (climb ladders and catwalks)
Able to operate a lift‑platform a plus
Must be able to work around very strong magnets
Ability to work in team and positively impact team members
Must be self‑starter, organized and detail‑oriented
