Dispatch ready mix concrete in a timely manner. Provide effective customer service and dispatch support by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs, as well as fellow team members within the Customer Service and Dispatch departments.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Dispatch orders in a timely and efficient manner.* Communicate with drivers and direct them to delivery locations.* Work directly with surrounding areas to better service customers by utilizing multiple plants and look to share trucks.* Ability to multitask and stay focused while dealing with various contractors, salespeople, dispatchers, and other personnel.**Qualifications and Requirements:*** Basic computer and data entry skills for entering orders.* Knowledge of the Minneapolis/St. Paul and surround areas.* Communicate in a positive and helpful manner with a variety of customers.* Ability to read and understand maps.* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).* Three to five years’ related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Must be able to read, write and speak English.* Must be able to perform basic math, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.* Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.* Ability to apply basic computer skills.Pay: $24-26 per hour**Benefits*** Medical Insurance* Dental Insurance* Life Insurance* Retirement Plans* Paid Time Off* Wellness Program* Education Assistance* Employee Assistance Program**Closing**If you are interested in becoming part of our team, please apply online today.*We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
