Qualifications
1+ years of experience in an electrical field.
F.E. (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam passed or plans to take it soon.
Basic AutoCAD skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with low and medium voltage power system design.
A collaborative attitude and the ability to work independently when needed.
What You’ll Do
Work with a Professional Engineer to design and write specs for electrical power distribution, control systems, industrial lighting, motor controls, and more.
Visit commercial, industrial, and municipal sites for project design and construction support.
Coordinate with other in-house disciplines — Civil, Structural, Architectural, Survey, Environmental.
Communicate with utilities like DTE and Consumers Energy.
Assist with construction engineering.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, agencies, and your team to keep projects running smoothly.
