Position Overview The Audiology Technician will support our audiologist(s) by performing hearing tests, assisting with hearing aid fittings and repairs, and managing essential front‑office duties. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, patient‑centered, and eager to grow within the hearing healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Support
Conduct basic hearing tests and screenings under the supervision of the audiologist
Assist with hearing aid fittings, cleanings, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
Program hearing aids using manufacturer software (training provided if needed)
Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Administrative & Front Desk Duties
Greet patients and provide friendly, professional assistance
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Process payments, verify insurance information, and handle billing-related tasks
Support daily office operations to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications
Previous experience in audiology, hearing aid technology, or a medical office is preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable with technology, software systems, and learning hearing aid programming tools
Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
Detail‑oriented, organized, and reliable
High school diploma required; additional healthcare or audiology training is a plus
