Technician II Security – VTI Security (A Paladin Technologies Company)
Join us as a Technician II Security to provide efficient and high-quality installations related to integrated security systems.
Responsibilities
Install, terminate and test equipment per specifications and applicable building/electrical codes.
Assist in design and other tasks as assigned while delivering on Paladin commitments.
Work with Field Engineers on startup to ensure system compliance.
Communicate daily with Installation Supervisor on delays, requirements, and job status.
Ensure closeout, turnover to client and service department.
Repair, restore, and test all systems per specifications and codes.
Maintain accurate written record keeping and submit on time.
Maintain professional licensing as required by state/local jurisdictions.
Support, lead, and mentor team members.
Design systems and layouts.
Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism.
Lead projects at a site level and manage a team of junior technicians as necessary.
May require shift work as needed.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass pre‑employment screening.
Minimum 2 years working in the electronic field with daily use of AC/DC theory.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of integrated security, communications, and network infrastructure.
Experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of security systems.
