Summary Statement : This employee accepts payments for court-ordered assessments, enters data into an automated case management system, prepares deposits to financial institutions, contacts offenders whose accounts are delinquent, and prepares payment plans.

Essential Functions

Compute fiscal/financial transactions.

Reconcile transactions/accounts.

Review to ensure compliance with required documentation, signatures, and rules/regulations.

Record fiscal/financial transactions to various financial information systems.

Interact with public/private sector to provide/obtain information.

Compile information/develop reports for use by others.

Monitor balances and report discrepancies.

Job Requirements

Experience in processing financial transactions in areas such as accounting or cashiering.

Experience in providing customer service over the phone, in person, and in writing.

Experience handling multiple payment methods (i.e., cash, checks, credit cards).

Experience keyboarding, preferably at a rate of at least 40 words per minute.

Knowledge of recordkeeping which includes maintaining records, logs, and filing systems.

Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving), or a non‑expired state‑issued identification card.

Must be able to lift a box of paper (approx. 40 lbs).

Conditions of Hire

A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of hire.

Direct deposit of paychecks is required as a condition of hire.
