Life Enrichment Coordinator
to design and lead engaging programs for our Assisted Living (AL) and Independent Living (IL) residents. You will also be responsible for transporting residents to and from shopping trips, outings and events. As the Life Enrichment Coordinator, you are the heart of our community’s social life. You won't just be "planning events"—you’ll be building connections and ensuring our residents live their best lives every single day. Key Responsibilities
Creative Programming: Develop and facilitate diverse activities including baking clubs, painting workshops, and large-scale community events. Outings & Adventure: Plan and lead off-site excursions. You will be fully trained to drive the community van and car (no CDL required!) to transport residents safely. Digital Organization: Use your computer skills to manage calendars, track participation, and create content for our in house TV channel. Community Spirit: Provide a flexible schedule to support the community’s needs, including occasional holidays and special evening events with rotating weekends. What We’re Looking For
Experience: Proven experience in activities, life enrichment, or event planning (senior living experience preferred). Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in basic computer software (Word, Publisher, or Canva) is a must for creating calendars and communication materials. The "Joy" Factor: An outgoing personality with the ability to motivate and engage residents with varying levels of ability. Reliability: A clean driving record and the comfort level to be trained on driving our community vehicles. Flexibility: A "can-do" attitude regarding schedule changes to accommodate special outings or holiday celebrations. Why Join Us?

This is an hourly position 40/hrs. week with great benefits. Uniform polo shirts provided, complementary meal during your shift, PTO that starts day 1; usable after 90 days of employment, double time for 8 holidays, if worked, floating holiday after 6 months,5% 401K match, culture committee and participation in so many amazing events. You would be apart of a team with a Life Enrichment Director to create, escalate and facilitate amazing things for the residents that call RSL Avon home. You would also be apart of a "Best of the West" community voted and advertised in Cleveland Magazine. We have maintained high census levels with waiting lists for the past several years.
