Responsible and accountable for leading reset activity and bridging the gap between third‑party resource teams and Brand leadership. Supports and delivers against merchandising strategies and implementation expectations within assigned regions at Retail. Provides guidance and leadership to a group of support teams (third‑party) to ensure proper execution of Shelf Merchandising strategies and Assortment Services support through defined reset processes. Oversees performance and provides specific direction to field merchandising teams towards the delivery of quality total store resets and completion of Category Cycle resets within assigned regions. Performs effective planning, coordination, and communications of assigned projects to effectively execute center store on‑shelf merchandising plans. Travels extensively to lead reset work across the ADUSA organization, providing expertise and accountability for reset work assigned (Day & overnight work). Guides, influences and leads merchandising teams (up to 30 + external team members) accountable for delivering quality store resets, maintaining “best in class” completion rates of assigned projects, and providing retail support through direct supervision and talent development. Serves as the key leadership link between third‑party teams and retail in support of reset activity within assigned regions. Primary point of contact for store leadership. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis until the end of their appointment.

Essential job functions:

Provides leadership, guidance and accountability for a team of In‑store Execution team members (third‑party) towards the delivery of on‑shelf project work and Category Cycle Reviews

Provides leadership and guidance to an assigned working team (third‑party) to ensure the effective execution of total store resets/renew projects, new stores, capital projects, etc.

Provides recommendations and performance guidance to third‑party teams to improve associate retention and performance.

Serves as the point person for total store resets/renew projects. Accountable for meeting timelines and desired outcomes by leveraging best practices and using subject matter expertise.

Collaborates with Retail Managers, Shelf Merchandising support and Construction Project Managers to coordinate and implement new store and remodel shelf merchandising/renew projects (includes pre‑planning, scheduling, and oversight to minimize the impact to retail operations)

Maintains productive relationships with Retail Operations and all functional business areas in relation to new stores and remodels, providing feedback appropriately to improve retail execution.

Monitors reset team performance through store visits, communication with retail operators, status reports and compliance audits.

Communicates scheduling details and general project recap information to local retail leadership and vested corporate support teams.

Escalates issues found when executing plan‑ograms to Assortment Services as needed. Serves as a liaison between Retail and the corporate office in support of all Assortment Service’s needs.

Coordinates and implements special projects as assigned by leadership/Brand.

Is responsible for the development, talent planning and performance management of associates and assigned team.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

Minimum of five years of combined experience in assortment/shelf merchandising, store resets, Retail Operations, and directing/leading others.

Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation.

This position requires extensive travel (up to 95%) with overnight stays and regular night and/or weekend work. Travel in the geographic area of Charleston, SC, Myrtle Beach, SC, Columbia, SC, Florence, SC and Wilmington, NC.

Must have the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. in support of assigned reset activity.

Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis until the end of their appointment.

Salary ranges:

ME/NC/PA/SC: $63,440–$95,160 IL/MA/MD/NY: $72,880–$109,320 Actual compensation offered may vary based on qualifications, internal equity and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
