Mechanical Assembler 1 – Pinnacle Group – Agawam, MA
Pay Range: $18–$20/hr. 100% onsite – 720 Silver St, Agawam, MA.
Job Description Perform repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass‑produce products such as actuators, electronic case assemblies and their subassemblies.
Summary Show proficiency in the products and processes after training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble parts following bills of materials, drawings and written work instructions.
Perform visual inspection and/or testing on assembled components.
Bolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fasten parts together.
Operate hydraulic presses, electric or pneumatic screwdrivers and other mechanical assembly aids.
Work at different workstations as production needs require.
Perform other functions including packing finished product and assembling product kits.
Work on different models of actuators and/or electronic assemblies.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience reading and following mechanical drawings to assemble products.
Comfortable using basic hand tools such as wrenches, hex keys and screwdrivers.
Language Skills
Should be able to read and understand English.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills required.
Physical Demands
Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently stand, walk, and sit.
Rarely move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Employee alternates sitting and standing as comfortable.

Work Environment
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Noise level usually moderate.
