Student Development Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Architect:
Design and manage the full life cycle of our Student Development Program, ensuring a smooth transition from student to full-time technician.
Lead Ambassador:
Build and nurture deep relationships with local high schools and technical colleges. You are the bridge between education and industry.
Program Management:
Oversee our Youth Apprentice (High School) and Technician Student (College) programs, acting as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and educators.
Event Leader:
Own our recruitment calendar—leading career fairs, shop open houses, and classroom presentations.
Internal Partner:
Work side‑by‑side with our Service Managers to ensure students are being mentored properly and that our shop teams are engaged in the development process.
Data‑Driven Growth:
Track retention rates and program success metrics to constantly refine how we attract and keep top talent.
Schedule Monday‑Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm — 100% in office (with local travel)
Salary Salary range of $45,000 – $70,000.
Qualifications
The Connector:
You have 2–5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent development (Automotive experience is a major plus!).
The Communicator:
You can command a room during a presentation and have the empathy to mentor a student through their first week on the job.
The Organizer:
You’re comfortable managing multiple programs and schedules simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
The Professional:
You handle sensitive information with discretion and understand the importance of HR compliance.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business is preferred, but we value proven experience and "hustle" just as much.
Tech Savvy:
Proficient in Google Suite and comfortable using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
