To learn how to apply for a faculty or staff position, please review this .**Work** **Shift: (Full-time, 40 hrs. per week), days, evenings, on call rotational coverage and some weekends may be needed.****Work Location: University of Miami Health System at UTower - Radiology Imaging Services****CORE JOB FUNCTIONS*** Performs all duties of Level I, II & III technologist.* Supervises imaging services, including performance or supervision of tests, and daily management of assigned personnel.* Assists in compilation of statistical data for departmental evaluation purposes.* Establish and maintain modality accreditation certifications.* Contributions to the preparation of the annual departmental budget and development of administrative and operational policies, procedures, and regulations.* Responsible for hire, discipline, and promotion of department staff.* Obtains and examines the diagnostic orders for appropriateness to the type of exam ordered and any special notes or comments.* Coordinate/manage scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.* Collaborates in the development of in-service training for departmental staff.* Completes yearly performance appraisals for the staff and handles requests for merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.***This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.*****CORE QUALIFICATIONS****Education:**High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology /Diagnostic Imaging Program.**Certification and Licensing:**Must possess a valid State of Florida License with two or more advanced certifications required beyond the ARRT (R) certification. CPR and BLS certification required.o
