Assistant Superintendent: Watertown Country Club (managed by Oliphant Golf Management)
Oliphant Golf Management (OGM) is seeking a hard‑working, results‑oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team in Watertown, WI at Watertown Country Club. Under the direction and supervision of the Head Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will lead small groups to achieve optimal golf course conditions in a teamwork‑driven atmosphere. This position offers opportunities to grow in your career while maintaining an 18‑hole golf course. Watertown CC is a beautiful private golf course, providing an opportunity for an Assistant Superintendent to bolster their skills and professional experience.
Responsibilities
Assist the Superintendent with fertilizer and chemical applications, bunker maintenance, irrigation, and crew/project management.
Lead small groups to achieve optimal golf course conditions.
Maintain a friendly, confident, professional demeanor that provides a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications
A Wisconsin commercial pesticide applicator’s license (required).
Golf maintenance experience and/or education.
Results‑oriented, hard‑working, and team‑driven attitude.
Benefits
2 weeks paid vacation.
Golf privileges at Watertown CC and other OGM managed properties.
Uniforms provided.
Association dues to GCSAA and state/local chapter.
National, state, local, and OGM educational/seminar travel expenses.
Salary: $50,000 and up DOE.
