Pay or shift range: $167,381.24 USD to $276,151.33 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. The Senior Project Manager 2 is responsible for independently winning, managing, monitoring, and delivering large, complex projects that are high-quality, profitable, and satisfy clients. This role requires broad technical background, expert-level communication and organizational skills, and the ability to assimilate complex technical information to make informed decisions and guide others. The position includes leadership, mentoring, business development, client relations, staff management, and periodic overnight travel. Job Responsibilities and Duties

Demonstrates advanced technical judgement Leads the project team toward appropriate technical solutions Provides senior review of technical drawings and documents Mentors other PMs on technical matters Teamwork, Communication, and Leadership

Demonstrates exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Exercises advanced judgement on how and when to communicate. Builds staff and client loyalty. Takes responsibility for personal and team results and proactively mentors others. Project Schedule and Delivery

Develops schedules for large, complex projects. Demonstrates leadership to deliver timely results. Leads and/or delegates meetings that contribute to project success. Monitors progress against staffing to ensure timely delivery. Mentors others to do the same. Understanding Scope and Budget

Leads the development of scope and fee breakdowns that ensure financial success and client satisfaction. Monitors metrics and adjusts as needed. Manages scope to avoid negative variances and obtains contract amendments as needed. Mentors others on these practices. Business Development & Marketing

Focuses marketing efforts on the largest and most complex projects. Leads BD and marketing by meeting with clients and partners, identifying leads, positioning the firm to win, and collaborating on proposals. Mentors others in BD/marketing. Responsible for winning a significant volume of new work annually. Conducts key-client feedback meetings and reviews proposals. Client Interaction

Maintains frequent client and partner communication during project meetings, conferences, and events. Serves as a company ambassador to foster client satisfaction and loyalty. Mentors others on client engagement and expands markets/geographies to establish new relationships. Other

Provides exceptional marketing, management, and project leadership on the largest projects. Mentors other PMs and monitors scope, schedule, and budgets to limit risk and ensure financial success. Supervisory Duties

May include supervisory responsibilities: Oversees team operations and daily workflow Organizes workflow and clarifies duties Recruits and hires new employees Implements training and identifies opportunities for current staff Facilitates communication between leadership and employees Monitors productivity and provides feedback and coaching Sets goals for performance and deadlines Provides performance evaluations and considers rewards/promotions Handles discipline and termination in accordance with policy Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree required Years of experience: 20 years (15 years as a PM) Years of experience with advanced degree: 19 years (15 years as a PM) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

PE, PMP, CCM or equivalent required (depending on discipline) DOWL Senior PM certification required Driving Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Project Managers coordinate and oversee project activities across locations, often requiring in-person engagement. Responsibilities include: Visiting job sites to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality control Meeting with clients, contractors, and team members at off-site locations Attending stakeholder meetings, public hearings, and industry events Traveling to municipal offices or partner organizations for permitting and coordination Responding to urgent project needs that require on-site presence These responsibilities require flexible and reliable transportation for effective project management. Physical Demands
