Director of eCommerce
Location:
On-site Eatontown, NJ Job Type:
Full Time Schedule:
9-6 Salary:
DoE (salary and performance based bonuses)
We are looking for a powerhouse eCommerce leader to take the reins of our digital storefront and scale our apparel brand to new heights. We currently manage thousands of SKUs and generate approximately $6M in annual online sales, but we have the potential for much more. We need an owner, not just a manager—someone who can step in on day one, identify gaps in our current strategy, and execute a vision that drives aggressive growth. If you are a data driven strategist who lives and breathes conversion rates and digital merchandising in the apparel space, this is your opportunity to build a legacy with a high performing brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the full P&L for the eCommerce division, with a clear focus on scaling revenue beyond the current $6M mark.
Manage and optimize a massive catalog of thousands of SKUs, ensuring seamless navigation and superior site search functionality.
Lead the digital merchandising strategy to improve cross selling, upselling, and average order value (AOV).
Oversee all digital marketing channels including paid social, SEM, email marketing, and SMS to drive high quality traffic.
Analyze customer data and site analytics to identify friction points in the conversion funnel and implement CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) strategies.
Partner with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure inventory accuracy and a premium post purchase experience for customers.
Manage third party vendor relationships, including developers, agencies, and platform providers.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in eCommerce management, specifically within the apparel or high SKU retail sector.
Proven track record of scaling a digital brand from mid market to high growth phases.
Deep technical proficiency with major platforms such as Shopify Plus, Magento, or BigCommerce.
Expert level understanding of Google Analytics, SEO, and data visualization tools.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide value and strategic direction from day one.
Exceptional eye for detail regarding product imagery, descriptions, and the overall aesthetic of an apparel brand.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
What We Offer:
A high impact leadership role with the autonomy to make significant strategic decisions.
Competitive base salary with a lucrative bonus structure tied to growth milestones.
The opportunity to manage an established division with a strong foundation and massive upside.
Comprehensive benefits package and a professional, fast paced work environment.
Access to the latest eCommerce tools and resources to help you succeed.
