Description Bryant and Stratton College’s Athletic Department is looking for a part-time Strength & Conditioning coach for its men’s and women’s track & field teams, which compete at the NJCAA Division I level.

The assistant coach will focus on excellence in competition and academics, helping athletes develop both physically and academically.

Responsibilities

Assist the head coach in all strength & power development aspects of the Track & Field program.

Help with scouting and recruiting players, hold tryouts, and coach the intercollegiate team.

Stay knowledgeable of all NJCAA rules, including student‑athlete eligibility requirements.

Represent the College professionally, supervising student‑athletes during travel and ensuring their safety.

Assist with scheduling, organizing, supervising, and conducting strength training days.

Drive vans to meets when required.

Complete other duties assigned by the head coach and athletic director.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (human performance related major preferred).

Strong & Power Coaching experience at the high school level or above.

Experience programming for athletes (preferred in Track and Field).

First Aid/CPR certification.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, and leadership skills.

Serve as a positive role model for young adults.

Willingness to become familiar with NJCAA rules and regulations.
