Our client is seeking a Business Analyst/Consultant III to join their team. As a Business Analyst/Consultant, you will be part of the Contract Management department supporting IT contract lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Duration: 12+ months with possible extension
What's the Job?
Manage the entire IT contract lifecycle, including amendments, modifications, and enforcement of performance clauses. Act as the key contact and subject‑matter expert for contract‑related activities involving IT services, hardware, and software across the County. Assist with statutory analysis and negotiate contract terms, conditions, incentives, and remedies to meet organizational needs. Coordinate with procurement and stakeholders to identify optimal vendor terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and value. Resolve contract issues, mitigate delays, support audits, mediate disputes, and escalate issues as necessary. What's Needed?
Five or more years of experience in contract management or paralegal work, particularly with technology or IT service agreements. Knowledge of best practices in IT contract negotiation tactics and strategies. Ability to assess contractual and financial exposure and negotiate effectively. Experience bridging communication between IT and business units to structure contracts aligned with organizational goals. Strong project and process management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vendors and contracts simultaneously. What's in it for me?
