The Skilled Home Health Nurse implements a full-time professional nursing service to patients in their homes under the supervision of the Clinical Services Supervisor, according to agency standards and policies. Responsibilities
Initiates and provides medically prescribed skilled nursing care and health counseling that contributes to the treatment of medical conditions, rehabilitation potential, and symptom reduction. Makes the initial visit to assess the patient's physical and emotional status, needs, and resources through observation, interviews, and records analysis. Prepares the nursing plan of care in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment based on identified problems and provides patient teaching using the Care Plan/Standard of Care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing Valid driver's license Experience in home care is preferred Infusion and wound care experience is required Familiarity with OASIS documentation is necessary BLS certification (AHA) Why ARMStaffing?
