Work safely with acids, chemicals, gases, and delicate equipment
Produce accurate and precise analysis in a timely manner
Perform Lead Molybdate Gravimetric Molybdenum Analysis
Complete daily analysis of metals using Atomic Absorption Spectrometers
Weigh and digest Geological and Metallurgical samples
Work early day shift (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM), weekend work in rotation, and occasional extended or additional days when necessary
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Able to work safely around chemicals and hotplates in a laboratory setting. Strong analytical chemistry skills including experience operating and troubleshooting instruments is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excel is required. Ability to pay attention to detail and be organized Bachelor’s degree in a related Science field such as Chemistry is preferred. Safety Record, Attitude, Attendance and Work Performance will be considered prior to the interview process.
