Machine Operator

Base pay range: $15.00/hr - $17.00/hr
Shift times:
Morning: 6am-2:30pm
Swing/Afternoon/Evening: 2pm-10:30pm
All shifts work mandatory overtime (OT) on weekends
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring job jackets are understood, cutting printed stock to specifications, maintaining quality standards, and supporting other departments as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
Take printed stock and cut to proper dimensions as called for on the production order.
Operate cutting machines to make detailed custom cuts for various types of printed stock.
Read work order and verify all fabrication needed before cutting.
Cut in accordance with priorities set by leadership.
Report any issues or problems related to signage to management.
Report machine operational issues to management and/or maintenance.
Maintain all safety and cleanliness standards.
Use forklift as required per site expectations.
Perform other duties as requested, including supporting other departments.
Education & Experience
6+ months’ experience with cutting and router machines (preferred).
Qualifications, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Manage large workloads; maintain high quality and accuracy.
Meet deadlines and mitigate disruptions to workflow.
Knowledgeable in basic math, fractions, and percentages.
Pass a basic skills test.
Communicate (read, speak, write, understand) in English.
Can lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain for forklift certification.
Available for weekend work shifts & overtime as required.
Safety conscious and can perform job functions in a safe manner.
Can work alone and under minimal supervision.
Can think outside the box when creative solutions are needed.
Works well on a team and contributes positively to GSP culture.
Physical Demands
Standing for entire assigned shift.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Carrying, reaching, feeling, talking, hearing as required.

CNC Router.
