What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk within our Accounting and Finance division. This position falls under our Finance line of business and is located in Covington, LA. In this role, you will manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice coding, entry, and reconciliation. You will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
How We Work As an Accounts Payable Clerk, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
Assigned workspace in Covington, LA
Formal, hands‑on training
Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include:
Processing full-cycle accounts payable transactions
Coding and entering invoices into the AP system
Verifying invoice accuracy and matching to purchase orders (if applicable)
Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
Obtaining approvals and entering invoices into the system
Serving as backup for merchant ACH processing desk
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Minimum 1-3 years of accounts payable experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel; experience with D365 a plus
Knowledge of accounting principles preferred
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and discrepancy resolution capabilities
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure
Effective communication and teamwork skills
