Residential Counselor
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare organization offering a full continuum of care across Arizona, Oklahoma and the District of Columbia. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient‑centered medical homes, medication‑assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Job Summary The CBI Residential Counselor is responsible for delivering therapeutic and treatment planning services to CBI residential patients. The role includes facilitating group counseling using the approved CBI curriculum and schedule, and conducting individual sessions with each patient on a regular basis, in accordance with the policies, processes, and governing rules set forth by the Department of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS), Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
Skills & Requirements
Master’s Degree in a related field
2 years of related experience in behavioral healthcare, physical health, or substance abuse
Associate or Independently Licensed Professional with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor
