Crisis Mobile Specialist Job Summary The Crisis Mobile Specialist is responsible for responding to crisis calls from first responders, jails, hospitals, other providers and the community at large. The intent of this service is to quickly triage a crisis situation, recommend an appropriate intervention, and assist in transitioning the person in crisis to the most appropriate level of care, when applicable. These positions are ‘on call’ positions and are required to respond to crisis situations 24 hours a day. Each area below is defined by the specific function as it relates to the policy, process, and the governing rules set forth by the Department of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS), Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Office of Behavioral Health Licensure (OBHL), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
Skills/Requirements
High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates Degree is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Behavioral Health Field required.
Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
