Responsibilities
Handle criminal defense matters under supervision, including arraignments, pretrial hearings, motions, and trials.
Draft legal documents, including motions, discovery requests, and client communications.
Conduct legal research.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies, leveraging collective expertise for optimal outcomes.
Maintain open and clear communication with clients, keeping them informed and involved every step of the way.
Negotiate settlements with opposing parties, striving for resolutions that align with clients' goals.
Participate in client consultations, offering guidance and building trust through transparent and empathetic interactions.
Gradually assume primary responsibility for managing your own caseload.
Contribute to the firm’s reputation for high‑quality, client‑focused legal services.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice in Massachusetts (required).
0–3 years of legal experience (criminal defense internship, clinic, or clerkship experience preferred).
Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.
Eager to learn, comfortable in the courtroom, and committed to client service.
Compensation $75,000 - $95,000 yearly
