Position Summary and Responsibilities: The Driver Check-In position is to receive, store and distribute material, equipment, and Ben E. Keith products, ensuring the safe and efficient storage of BEK inbound shipments. Count and perform quality assessment of BEK returned products to ensure BEK guidelines are met and maintained. Organize and prepare returned products for timely and efficient storage to ensure availability of BEK products, material and equipment. Review paperwork and perform appropriate documentation of products to ensure quantities match shipments. Perform additional duties as needed.
DAY SCHEDULE: 10AM-7PM Split Days Off (Wednesday/Sunday) *Schedule subject to change* Pay $21.15 per hour
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
At least 1 year of returns experience preferred
Must have 1 year experience of food service
Must have 1 year experience in warehouse
Must have experience in one of the following: pallet jack, standup forklift
Knowledge of the food industry helpful
Ability to strictly adhere to safety guidelines
Basic math skills required
Ability to use a PC and learn relevant internal applications
Willingness to work in varying climate conditions and shifts
Solid interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic self-starter
Ability to receive and follow directions
Ability to multi-task
Efficient time-management
Good written/verbal communication skills
Customer-focused
Strong attention to detail
Excellent work ethic
Ability to prioritize projects
Perform additional tasks as needed
Ability to Follow Directions
High school graduate or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Must be able to work at a height distance while using a lift (cannot be scared of heights)
Able to read product lists and packages
Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to handle product weighing up to 100 lbs.
Ability to repetitively lift
Ability to learn to operate heavy warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs
Must be able to work in different warehouse temperature zones.
Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery horns)
High school graduate or equivalent required.
