Traditional Home Care, a locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one‑on‑one, non‑medical support to individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.
Location Bloomsburg, PA
Shift Availability
Full‑time, Part‑time
Weekday, Weekend, Evening shifts available
Job Duties
Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
Companionship
Appropriate communication/social skills
Light housekeeping and chores
Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
Meeting individual goals and outcomes
Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Mobile Device & EVV Requirements Position complies with the 21st Century Cures Act, requires Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and use of a mobile device to log visits. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets and have reliable internet access.
