What You Will Be Doing As a Multi-functional Manufacturing ASC Manager, you will be responsible for leading manufacturing activities and supervising the represented workforce to accomplish quality, schedule, and cost objectives for the Fort Worth Fabrication Department.
Responsible for planning daily activities for an average of 20 direct employees, sequencing and assigning work to support required goals and objectives.
Accountable for all aspects of quality, cost, and schedule relating to area of responsibility.
Monitor and maintain all required Compliance training, labor punches and vacations.
Maintain and monitor Safety, Performance and Quality metrics as well as manpower adjustments on a daily regular basis.
Coordinate daily issues and problems with manufacturing planners, engineers and technical leads on a regular basis.
Conduct daily production coordination meetings and weekly meetings concerning Safety, Quality, Cost & Schedule.
Knowledge of ISO 9000 and 14001 processes and audits will be a plus.
Skills to motivate employees and hold them accountable are essential.
Possess the ability to decide and act appropriately with labor issues.
Assures employees and leadership comply with defined Core processes and program‑specific processes.
Proactively drive continuous improvement and development of technical competencies, talent, and performance.
Identify and lead incorporation of continuous improvement actions into manufacturing processes.
Identify gaps in skill sets. Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
Must be a US Citizen. This position requires special access to the facility.
This position is second shift. However, the selected individual may be transferred to a different shift to support production needs.

Basic Qualifications
Experience with formal managing/leading people in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
Experience in planning daily activities, sequencing and assigning work to support required goals and objectives.
Accountable for all aspects of quality, cost, and schedule relating to area of responsibility.
Desired Skills
Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts and cost reduction with an understanding of business metrics to drive performance.
Prior management experience in a Tube/Weld, Paint, and Machining, Manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with the Aeronautics organizational environment and data systems (QADS, SFM, ETG/Auto Time).
Ability to motivate team members by cultivating and reinforcing a diverse and inclusive environment.
A proven track record for shaping the future by building effective relationships.
The ability to energize a team and deliver results by modeling integrity and accountability.
Exceptional communication and decision making skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communicative skills.
Knowledge of 6S Activities and ISO9001 and 140001 Process and Audits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
