Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative, financial, and operational support to facilitate effective program management.
Financial Management & Reporting
Maintain and reconcile NRP accounts (State, Trust, Contracts, and Grants) using systems such as PeopleSoft and Wolf Reports.
Monitor budgets, accounts receivable and payable, and prepare detailed financial reports for program leadership.
Ensure compliance with university and state financial policies and procedures.
Payroll & HR Transactions
Administer bi-weekly payroll for student employees and part-time staff.
Initiate and process HR transactions within NC State systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
Program Administration & Data Analysis
Collect, analyze, and prepare management data to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
Assist with program management activities, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of audits and compliance reporting.
Office Operations & Customer Service
Provide general office support, including ordering supplies, managing phones and mail, and maintaining records.
Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and external vendors while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Compliance & Records Management
Coordinate records processing activities that require interpretation of policies, laws, and regulations.
Review data for completeness and accuracy and maintain electronic and physical filing systems in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Preferences Work Schedule Monday‑Friday (8 AM‑5 PM) Hybrid
Other Work/Responsibilities After completion of the training period, this position will work onsite Monday through Thursday, with a hybrid (remote) schedule on Fridays.
Minimum Experience/Education
Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in administrative support, program coordination, or financial operations. Experience with payroll, HR systems, or financial reporting is preferred.
