We are looking for an Assembler III to build and test precision electronics assemblies.
Responsibilities The primary responsibility of an Assembler III is to build, test and trouble-shoot precision electro-mechanical assemblies. The position requires the ability to understand and analyze assembly documentation, the ability to perform precision soldering, and ability to use production tooling and test equipment. A high level of competency trouble shooting electro-mechanical assemblies is required. Calibration of electronic assemblies using DVM’s and O-scopes is also required. This position will also require the individual to effectively interface with R&D and M.E. to provide detailed feedback on product build and test issues, and aid in new product releases.
Follow assembly documentation and build precision electro mechanical assemblies to print
Perform precision soldering
Use production tooling and test equipment
Calibrate laser assemblies using digital voltmeters and oscilloscopes
Interface with R&D and M.E. to provide detailed feedback on product build and test issues, and aid in new product release
Work both independently and as a team member to best help keep up with production schedules
Request parts from stock utilizing appropriate methods
Other duties as assigned

Precision soldering skills
Able to read and understand assembly documentation
Able to use production tooling and test equipment
Critical attention to minute details
Punctual and reliable
Mechanically inclined
Great communication skills verbally and written
Ability to solve production related problems
Flexible to continuous improvement activities
Ability to use SAP as needed to perform essential job functions
Good eyesight
Exceptional hand dexterity for small parts assembly
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
Ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to hip height
Alert to the environment to avoid hazards in the workplace
Orderly, keeping work environment clean and organized
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
2 to 3 years of college training preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience building high level electromechanical assemblies
At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $21/hr. and $36/hr. and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
