MN RAN You will join the RAN Business Unit and will enjoy our culture of innovation, openness, discipline, simplicity, accountability, and profit mindset. Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions, including cross‑technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology).

Your responsibilities

Design, simulate, test, and document RF circuits as part of a larger TRX design team. Design responsibilities could be in any of the following areas: Transmitters, Receivers, Power Amplifiers, RF Synthesizers, Antennas, or Power supplies. Additionally, there is potential for working on the development of Signal processing algorithms and Digital Pre‑Distortion. Opportunities to grow into roles with increased responsibility, such as unit integrator and chief engineer, as competencies and experience develop.

Daily tasks could include circuit simulation, design, prototyping, and testing.

Candidates must also be adept at technical writing and documentation tasks.

Candidates will also be required to support related project RF design activities by participating in design reviews and technical information exchange sessions.

Candidates may be required to work in close cooperation with subcontractors for related product development. Support other design engineers and specialists for design work.

Your skills and experience You have

MS + 0 years in Electrical Engineering or Physics with coursework in RF or Microwave technology preferred. A BSEE, plus 2 years of applicable internship experience, is also acceptable.

Knowledge of RF Circuit Design and Signal processing techniques from applicable coursework or job experience is a major plus. This includes a good theoretical and practical understanding of basic RF Engineering and general principles, including digital modulation and demodulation. Basic knowledge of performance specifications and test methodology.

Experience with common RF simulation and electromagnetic simulation tools is a plus (HP ADS, CST, HFSS), and experience with analytical simulation/analysis tools such as MATLAB and Python would be helpful.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to plan and organize tasks.

Technical leadership potential is a plus.

Ability to travel internationally at short notice if needed (travel overall expected to be less than 10% of the time)
