Jane Fonda Climate PAC is seeking an experienced Deputy Director to be a strategic thought partner with the Executive Director and help lead day-to-day operations. This position will report to the Executive Director. This is a full time salaried position.

Key Responsibilities
Share staff management responsibilities with the Executive Director and oversee day-to-day operations of the PAC
Work with the Executive Director to develop strategic goals for the PAC’s electoral and policy work
Manage internal and external communications
Assist with compliance, legal checks and quality control
Fill in for the Executive Director as needed and represent the PAC for high-level meetings and events
Staff and prep the principal for events as needed
Help with various projects as needed
Occasional travel required
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience managing staff
Senior level experience on political campaigns, nonprofits, fundraising, digital or compliance
Experience managing consultants
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with public speaking
Deep knowledge of political, electoral, climate/environmental and/or philanthropic work
Passion for climate justice and addressing the climate crisis
Self-motivated, collaborative and a problem-solver
Value‑adds
You’ve managed a political campaign or advocacy campaign
You’ve had a senior‑level role in campaign management, fundraising, communications or digital for a campaign or advocacy organization
You have knowledge about election compliance rules and/or have a legal background
You have worked for a high level principal or elected official
Salary range: $135,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and cost of living considerations
Location: This position is fully remote.
