About the Opportunity AnthroMed Education is seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive elementary team in White Lake, Michigan for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time role serving one K-5th grade building. The position offers a manageable caseload of around 50 students, with services including two ASD classrooms! The school community is diverse, welcoming, and set up to support both students and clinicians for success. It is actually a Blue Ribbon Elementary School – the most prestigious education award in the state!
Responsibilities
Provide speech-language therapy to elementary students in both push-in (setting 1) and pull-out (setting 2) environments
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) using schools IEP system
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote communication and academic success
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation of student progress
Work closely with other AnthroMed SLPs in the district
Other duties as assigned
Caseload of approximately 50 students including two ASD classrooms (~13 students)
Dedicated office space
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure.
Experience working with school-aged children.
Knowledge of special education laws and procedures, including IDEA and IEP development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
