What You’ll Do
Provide therapy and intervention services to students at two schools
Address expressive/receptive language and pragmatic skills
Support students with behavior management needs as related to communication
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
Caseload Details
This is an FMLA, so the selected SLP will enter the position with a schedule already established
The district uses a weighted caseload model to help address workload
Nearly all caseloads are within 20-40 students and include students with a range of disabilities/severity levels (i.e. articulation delay, language delay, Autism)
Access to a shared office space
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (MSLP)
MD Department of Health SLP License
Experience with elementary and middle school populations strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competence
