Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) is seeking
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
to support children with autism in the Richmond, VA area. RBTs provide 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
This position is open to
full-time and part-time
candidates. Our mission is to help children with autism build independence, confidence, and meaningful life skills — while supporting families every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
Collect and document accurate session data
Support communication, social, and independence skill development
Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
Communicate professionally with caregivers and clinical team
Participate in supervision, training, and team collaboration
Requirements Required
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
High school diploma or higher
Professional, dependable, and compassionate work style
Ability to follow clinical direction from a BCBA
Comfortable working in a healthcare environment
Preferred
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental needs
Prior ABA therapy experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to engage with children at floor level
Ability to lift or assist up to approximately 30–50 lbs as needed
Ability to pass required background checks

Hourly pay: $22–$27 per hour (experience-dependent)
