Job Description Core Purpose: The Calibration Supervisor ensures precision and compliance in the calibration of RF and electrical instruments, while leading a team of technicians in an accredited lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Oversight
Supervise daily operations in the Electrical/RF Lab.
Train, mentor, and manage technicians.
Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and NIST traceability.
Technical Calibration
Perform and oversee calibration of RF/Microwave instruments (e.g., Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters).
Calibrate electronic instruments (e.g., Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Hipot Testers).
Quality & Compliance
Review calibration reports for accuracy and traceability.
Support audits and implement corrective actions.
Workflow Management
Assign priorities, manage workload, and meet turnaround times.
Maintain lab safety and environmental controls.
Collaboration
Work with engineers and QA to resolve technical issues and improve processes.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in Electrical and RF calibration, supervisory experience is a plus.
Manual calibration, ISO/IEC 17025 standards, uncertainty principles.
Preferred: Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training or equivalent technical education.
Leadership, communication, problem‑solving, team training.
Calibration software, databases, Microsoft Office.
