$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr What You’ll Do
Operate forklifts confidently to move pallets, goods, and equipment Load and unload trailers and relocate materials between storage areas Inspect and verify loads to ensure they’re secure and undamaged Follow department SOPs and complete the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist Connect/disconnect rail cars each day—rain, sun, or snow Support space planning, slotting, and inventory transfers Pitch in with other tasks to keep operations running smoothly Learn to run a turret truck as part of your equipment toolkit Prepare for and participate in monthly and year-end raw material physical inventories What You’ll Bring
Ability to read and comprehend English; solid basic math skills Prior forklift operation experience Strong attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication High school diploma or GED Schedule
Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm Physical and compliance details
Essential Physical Requirements
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job. Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.
