Position
HOURLY A/P & A/R CLERK
Location: Fresh and Ready Middletown – 3201 Fulling Mill Road, Middletown, PA 17057.
Schedule: Full time Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Pay Range: $19.50 per hour to $21.00 per hour.
Requirements
Prior experience as an accounts payable / accounts receivable clerk.
Customer service experience.
Responsibilities
Performs duties under the guidance of the Accounting Manager, including accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.
Distributes signed checks as required and prepares garnishment checks per payroll reports.
Acts as liaison between corporate and branch accounts payable departments.
Assists with month‑end closings and prepares analysis of accounts as required.
Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate files.
Responds to vendor inquiries and prepares financial and business transactions.
Prepares cleared checks for storage and assembles overnight shipments to branches.
Performs filing and copying duties and other tasks as assigned.
