Position Overview As a Liquor Store Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the store. You will oversee all aspects of the business including inventory management, customer service, and staff supervision. You will drive labor efficiency, sales and gross profit margins in alignment with the store.

Responsibilities

Maintaining an adequate stock levels by monitoring inventory levels and placing orders with suppliers as needed

Monitoring product rotation and ensuring that expired or damaged products are promptly removed from shelves

Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability

Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones

Planning and executing promotional events, tastings and other activities to drive sales

Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate promotional pricing and secure exclusive deals

Providing excellent customer service by handling customer inquiries, concerns and special requests in a prompt and professional manner

Setting and achieving sales targets

Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to maximize profitability

Overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of the work areas

Monitoring expenses, controlling waste and optimizing cost effectiveness

Communicating with store management regarding inventory, sales and any issues within the department

Adhering to all company safety standards

Performing other duties as assigned by leadership

Pay

$20.00 to $23.00 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Available to work all shifts, open to close with weekends and holidays

Experience

ServeSafe certification or comparable

Skills

Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; walking on a variety of flooring such as concrete, tile, carpet etc.

Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis

Organizational skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Working in a team-based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality

Quality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectives

Safety culture: Maintain and drive safety policies; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift
