PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires employees to attend an instructor guided training course that will last for approximately 12-14 Training will include regular assessments.
The schedule during training will be Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Some training will be held in person located in Williamsville, NY. Proper notice will be provided.
After successful completion of training, the work schedule will be Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:15am to 4:45pm at National Fuel’s Jamestown, NY location.
Work in a walk‑in office that services customers in person as well as handling inbound calls each day from utility customers in our New York service territory.
Respond to a large variety of customer concerns which can include but are not limited to emergency calls, account/billing questions, collection issues, meter reads, new service requests and processing payments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a customer service focused environment
Proficient at navigating computer applications and web‑based programs
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Proven history of dependability and reliability
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience with SAP and/or Microsoft Office applications.

Starting rate of pay $26.18/hour
After 6 months $27.90/hour
After one year $30.81/hour
