Job Description Sirius Staffing is seeking a Pharmaceutical Production Technician for a temp‑to‑hire in Indianapolis, IN. This role is responsible for executing aseptic filling operations in a strictly controlled cGMP environment. The technician will rotate through multiple job functions, demonstrate increasing technical competency, and provide on‑the‑floor leadership as needed.
Essential Job Functions
Obtain and maintain certification for GMP cleanroom entry, including gowning, sanitization, and aseptic behaviors.
Perform aseptic filling operations in accordance with approved batch records, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
Prepare, sanitize, assemble, and verify readiness of equipment and materials used in aseptic processing.
Verify equipment calibration status and ensure all supplies meet cleanliness and sterilization requirements prior to use.
Support manufacturing activities across Component Preparation, Filling, and Capping operations.
Learn and operate equipment associated with the fill suite, demonstrating increasing proficiency over time.
Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
Provide training and guidance to new team members as required.
Understand and support the manufacturing schedule, coordinating tasks to meet production timelines.
Provide floor leadership in the absence of a Supervisor or PT3‑level technician.
Safely transport and/or dispose of hazardous chemicals in accordance with site procedures.
Immediately notify supervision if experiencing an infectious disease or open lesions, as entry into manufacturing areas is prohibited under these conditions.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
3–5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, including hands‑on aseptic filling and isolator experience in a cGMP environment.
Strong working knowledge of GMP compliance regulations.
Demonstrated experience with aseptic filling processes, including equipment cleaning, preparation, and assembly.
Experience with stopper preparation, capping, and packaging preferred.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal SOPs and batch documentation.
Proficiency with basic arithmetic to accurately perform and verify manufacturing calculations.
Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) required for GMP documentation.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, preferred.
