We are currently seeking a skilled WordPress Specialist to build and maintain high-converting websites. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely, with a preference for candidates located near Colorado Springs, Colorado.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a small business, virtual setting and is able to manage a wide variety of site builds, ongoing maintenance, and conversion-focused development with consistency and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The specific tasks may vary depending on current organizational needs. Responsibilities typically include, but are not limited to: Design and build new WordPress sites with professional, conversion-focused layouts and strong visual hierarchy appropriate for medical industry Creating conversion-optimized landing pages Maintaining and updating existing websites (content updates, plugin updates, fixes, optimizations, redesigns) Implementing technical SEO fundamentals Collaborating with our team on project timelines and client requirements Ensuring all sites meet industry standards for professionalism and functionality Qualifications

Previous experience building WordPress websites for professional businesses Demonstrated portfolio of conversion-focused landing pages and websites Working knowledge of local SEO principles and technical implementation Comfortable leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) to accelerate content editing, troubleshooting, research, and problem-solving while maintaining quality standards Experience with medical/healthcare website requirements and compliance considerations Proven success working remotely with agency teams or direct clients Familiarity with page speed optimization and mobile-first design principles Core Skills
WordPress Development: Strong proficiency building custom sites, landing pages, and maintaining existing properties Design & Development: Ability to create professional, conversion-focused page designs from brand guidelines. Strong visual hierarchy, appropriate imagery selection, and design judgment for medical/surgical practices Technical SEO: Knowledge of site structure, metadata, schema markup, page speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness Conversion Optimization: Understanding of CTA placement, trust signals, user flow, and mobile-first design principles Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and editing proficiency Organization: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Discretion: Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism Team Collaboration: Works effectively both independently and as part of a support team Initiative: Demonstrates foresight and the ability to anticipate needs Problem-Solving: Takes ownership of technical issues and resolves them independently Technologically Proficient: Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SE Ranking, Yoast, Elementor, WP Engine, Asana, and relevant WordPress plugins is ideal. Competitive hourly rate or monthly retainer based on experience. Additional Requirements
The selected candidate will be required to sign a non-solicitation agreement and confidentiality agreement as part of the contracting process.
