is now accepting applications for an experienced and organized Contracts Manager to join our Global Center of Excellence in Gurgaon ("TAG GCE"). Reporting to TAG GCE’s General Manager and working in close coordination with TAG’s DC based Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, the Contracts Manager will serve as the firm’s lead for contract lifecycle management and will be responsible for managing and continuously improving contracting processes in close coordination with TAG’s legal department, sales partners, and client servicing teams. This position is offered as a full-time position on site in Gurgaon and requires working shift hours aligned to U.S. Eastern Time. Candidates must be available and responsive during core overlap hours of 9:00 AM–12:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time each business day (evening hours in India). Additional working hours will be scheduled to meet business needs, with occasional flexibility for urgent priorities. About TAG

Job Description

The Contracts Manager will play a pivotal role in professionalizing, scaling, and running TAG’s end‑to‑end contracting lifecycle, acting as a central point of coordination between internal stakeholders (legal, sales, finance, client teams, and operations) and external counterparties. This role will be critical to ensuring contracts move efficiently while protecting TAG’s legal and commercial interests. In addition to day‑to‑day contract management, this role will play a key role in the development and maintenance of TAG’s contracting SOPs, templates/playbooks, reporting/KPIs, repository hygiene, and stakeholder training. Job Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience in contract management, legal operations, commercial contracting, procurement contracting, or related roles (professional services experience strongly preferred). Demonstrated track record of building relationships with contracting teams at large multinational corporations to accelerate the contracting process. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities with fluid reporting lines. Start‑up mentality and desire to work in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. Familiarity with contracting concepts and structures. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent matters under tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail, follow‑through, and organizational skills. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort using systems/tools to track workflows and performance. Experience with CLM tools and contract repositories (Salesforce considered a plus). Familiarity with contract governance best practices, approval matrices, and KPI‑driven process improvement. Undergraduate degree in law, business, finance, or a related field; advanced degree/certification in contract management is a plus. Experience working across global teams and time zones, supporting a high‑growth environment. Job Responsibilities

Contract Intake:

Serve as the operational owner of TAG’s contracting intake process, ensuring contracting requests are captured consistently, contain required information, and are routed to the right reviewers and approvers. Contract Lifecycle Management:

In close coordination with the Legal Department, manage the full contracting lifecycle across client and vendor agreements: facilitating internal review, tracking negotiation/redlines, ensuring approvals, and driving contracts through signature and execution. Proactively manage key dates, renewal windows, and obligations. Cross‑Functional Coordination:

Act as the connective tissue between client teams, Legal, Sales, Finance/Accounting, and Operations to clarify requirements, reduce bottlenecks, and keep stakeholders aligned on responsibilities, timelines, and risk posture. Stakeholder Management & Client/Counterparty Communications:

Drive professional, timely communications with external counterparties as needed to progress review, resolve open issues, and coordinate signature logistics. Process Governance, SOPs & Enablement:

Assist with the maintenance and improvement of TAG’s contracting SOPs and workflows; develop job aids, checklists, and playbooks to standardize best practices; and support internal training so teams understand required inputs, expected timelines, and escalation paths. Contract Repository & Data Quality:

Own the integrity of TAG’s contract repository, ensuring executed agreements, amendments, and key correspondence are stored and easily searchable; maintain version control; and support audit readiness and record‑keeping. Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

Track and report contract process performance (e.g., cycle time, approval turnaround, renewal/obligation tracking, dispute frequency, repository completeness). Use data to recommend and implement improvements, including automation opportunities and clearer governance. Special Projects:

Support firm leadership on contracting‑related initiatives such as policy updates, contract governance improvements, CLM tooling enhancements, and scaling efforts tied to TAG’s growth. Remuneration will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels and in accordance with the overall TAG‑India salary structure.
